Update 1.1


The Refactoring is Here!

I have gone through many of the files in game and refactored the code to be more easily usable going forward. Many of the files used outdated code or did not have best practices in place, but now they do.

Textures, Materials and Sprites

The entire game has received a coat of new paint to reflect the direction that I wish for the game to go in. The new pixel aesthetic took me longer than I had anticipated, but I feel that it suits the game nicely. Every aspect of the game has been redone from the HUD to the 3D objects to the menu buttons and how they function.

Sounds! (I know, it took me long enough)

I have been grappling with how to make the game sounds reflect the vibe that I would like the game to have, so I have firstly changed all sounds to use a pixel sound font to fit the theme of the game better. Secondly, I have added some songs by the one and only Kevin McLeod (detailed credits found in the Credits file in the zip folder). While I can force my way through art and 3D modelling despite them not being my strong suit, I was unfortunately never able to make music that I felt did not lift the game up (it was bad enough to actually drag it down).
